WHAT DO YOU ARTISTICALLY DREAM FOR VENICE?


Workshop includes:

Jonathan Zeichner, Co-Director, Inside Out Community Arts introduction workshop will entail meeting other Venetians and opening a windows into each other's creative visions of Venice through fun, interactive quick get-to-know-you workshop.  Followed by Judith F. Baca, Founder/Artistic Director of SPARC in a "Voice to Vision" workshop in which members of the community will be asked to answer the question: What are the five ideas you have for the enhancement of the artistic life of Venice which will establish our community as a leader in the arts in our city, will define what is uniquely Venice and will transform our community into an "artists community". At lease one idea should be your wildest dream.  The workshop ends with a panel representing arts and community organizations sharing insights from the day as well as taking questions from the audience.  A short documentary filmed during the workshop will be presented at the close of the workshop.

Workshop Schedule:
11:00am - registration, refreshments and music
11:30am - introduction workshop lead by Jonathan Zeichner
12:30pm - Voice to Vision workshop lead by Judith F. Baca
3:00pm – Panel: question and answers followed by a short documentary film
