Report on Condo Conversion

Please find attached a copy of the staff report for City Planning Commission Case Number CPC 2006-10077-CA , that will be considered by the Commission at its regular meeting on December 14, 2006. The report discusses issues related to condominium conversions and tenant relocation assistance and recommends that the Commission adopt five ordinances to address these issues.

We apologize for the short notice, but the Housing, Community and Economic Development (HCED) Committee of the City Council directed staff to prepare code amendments for the last regularly scheduled 2006 meeting of the City Council (December 20, 2006). We anticipate that both the HCED Committee and the Planning and Land Use Management Committtee (PLUM) will consider this report at their respective public meetings prior to the December 20 Council meeting.
